2.0 WEB JIGSAW Reflection
Our Web 2.0 Jigsaw assignment involved collaborating in a group setting. Our group had to research and each of the members had to participate to make an effective demonstration. Our tool assigned to us was Voki. Voki is an online avatar that can be used to engage students with interactive lessons. Different avatars can be chosen and over 25 different languages can be used. I demonstrated Voki to my home group by describing what Voki was and how it could be used in a classroom. I showed the examples that my group and I put together. One example was that we had an avatar talk in Spanish. Making the avatars work into a lesson plan brings something different to learning. I think Voki makes learning fun. I plan on using Voki in my classroom when I am a teacher.
